Sometimes when you install Cisco Unity Connection. You get an error caused by hardware check. To successfully install Cisco Unity Connection, you need to bypass the hardware check.
Open your ISO image using the UltraISO tool. Navigate to the folder Cisco > install > conf.
Locate the callmanager_product.conf file.
Right-click on the file and click Extract To. Choose a location on your PC.
On your PC, open the callmanager_product.conf file. Seach keyword id=”connection”. Change the Value in the last line from NOT, to VAL.

Replace the callmanager_product.conf file as shown below.
Save the ISO image as shown below.
Now the hardware check is bypassed for your Cisco Unity Connection installation.
